Welcome to Hadley Bowling Green Inn
The original Inn dates back to the turn of the 16th century and has been the choice of generations as a venue to enjoy fine food, wines and cask ales. The Bowling Green, after which the Inn is named, is one of if not the oldest crown bowling greens in the British Isles.
Our cuisine is described as offering a range of traditional pub food to fine dining at weekends but without the formality - Why don't you come and taste for yourself.
The Inn has 12 en-suite bedrooms, ranging from cozy double rooms through to our executive suites with four-poster beds and a Jacuzzi. Many of the rooms can be used as doubles, twins or family rooms, depending on your requirements. All our bedrooms have coffee making facilities, hairdryers, TV’s with Freeview access, telephones and most rooms have Wi-Fi connectivity which is free.

We cater for wedding receptions and functions for between 10 and 140 people

Children friendly pub. We offer a 'small persons' menu for those who wish to enjoy good quality produce, but don't yet have the appetite to match your enthusiasm. Adventure area with activity tower and children's swing in the beer garden.
Why not take time out and enjoy our private bowling green? For the more adventurous how about pre-booking a corporate clay pigeon shoot, using our own Clay Pigeon Shooting Grounds? Private clay pigeon shooting tuition also available with shooting for groups and parties also arranged.
